Mindfullness & Meditation.

Yoga and mindfulness

We all have our own stories of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. Yoga brings you to the present and keeps you in the moment, teaching you body awareness for a peaceful mind, body and spirit!

How can yoga give you a peaceful mind?

Yoga can transform your life - both mentally and physically. It helps bring everything to the surface so that you can deal with it and move forward. Yoga can be your one true constant and help keep your life balanced and grounded through the ups and downs that life brings. The primary focus of yoga, through regular practice, is a transformation of the physical and mental state of being.

Help heal depression and anxiety

Practicing yoga with diverse yoga postures activates the network of nerves that relaxes the body after stress or danger. Meditation is part of the practice of yoga - we are focusing on what we are doing in the present, to help us stop dwelling on the past or being anxious about the future. Reiki is incorporated into my classes, during guided relation of savasana I apply Reiki to members of my class to enhance relaxation.. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Enhance your self-esteem

The spiritual aspect of yoga enhances your self-awareness and ability to connect with your inner self, making you more in tune with your own feelings. This helps us feel good in our own skin.

Life Balance

If you suffer from low self-esteem or low confidence, you may struggle to concentrate on things. Yoga practices focus - and practice makes perfect! This will help you free up some extra time to gain a better life balance.

Mindfulness

All of the above enhances a better mind-body connection, bringing about a higher understanding of self-awareness. This flows across into your everyday life in such things as mindful eating and general lower stress levels to help you live a happier and healthier life.

Yoga teaches you how to be in the moment.
