Welcome to Harmonious Hatha Yoga, my name is Suzie and I love the pure life that Yoga gives me! I came to yoga as an adult in my mid-twenties with a stiff, tight, non-bendy body. I don't have a dance or gymnastic background so I understand (as a non-flexible individual) what it is like to start from the beginning and feel a bit stiff. Let’s begin your journey and start to alleviate your non-flexible body, and transform into a happy, healthy & harmonious balanced being.
What is Hatha Yoga?
At Harmonious Hatha Yoga, I teach Hatha Yoga with an Iyengar twist. Hatha Yoga is a classic form of yoga, where you breathe with the movement.
BKS Iyengar - using props such as wooden blocks, belts and ropes helps you to achieve perfection in any yoga sequence. Using props promotes a more grounded supported feeling, helps to stretch and open up the body, allowing the poses to be more achievable. All the required equipment for a class is provided.
