Welcome to Harmonious Hatha Yoga - Gentle Yoga in Hadspen, Tasmania my name is Suzie and I love the life that Yoga has given me!

I came to Yoga as an adult in my mid-twenties with a stiff, tight, non-bendy body. I don't have a dance or gymnastic background so I understand (as a non-flexible individual) what it is like to start from the beginning and feel a bit stiff. Let’s begin your journey and start to alleviate your non-flexible body, and transform into a happy, healthy & harmonious balanced being. 

Join me - Suzie for classical Hatha Yoga with an Iyengar influence in Hadspen, just 10 minutes from Launceston. Small group and private classes with props, meditation and deep relaxation.

What is Hatha Yoga?

At Harmonious Hatha Yoga in Hadspen, I offer Hatha Yoga with an Iyengar twist. Hatha Yoga is a traditional style of yoga that focuses on balancing body, breath and mind through a combination of physical postures(asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and relaxation. 

At Harmonious Hatha Yoga, I teach in the Iyengar tradition, which emphasises:

  • Precise alignment

  • The use of props like blocks, straps, and bolsters for support

  • Longer holds in poses to build awareness, strength and stability

  • A focus on both physical safety and inner stillness.

    This style is suitable for all levels - from beginners to experienced practitioners - and is especially helpful for those managing injuries, stiffness, or anxiety. 

    Its Yoga that meets you where you are - and helps you to feel more grounded, spacious, and connected from the inside out.
